Year 47' Second Week - 2nd Grade

Bueno,igual que hice la semana pasada vamos a sentarnos todos en el suelo y os voy a contar un cuento.

One hot day, an ant was searching for some water. After walking around for some time, she came to a spring.

To reach the spring, she had to climb up a blade of grass. While making her way up, she slipped and fell into the water.

She could have drowned if a dove up a nearby tree had not seen her. Seeing that the ant was in trouble, the dove quickly plucked off a leaf and dropped it into the water near the struggling ant. The ant moved towards the leaf and climbed up there. Soon it carried her safely to dry ground.

Just at that time, a hunter nearby was throwing out his net towards the dove, hoping to trap it.

Guessing what he was about to do, the ant quickly bit him on the heel. Feeling the pain, the hunter dropped his net. The dove was quick to fly away to safety.

¿Os ha gustado? Pues bueno,ahora os voy a decir la tarea de esta semana. No va a ser muy díficil,os voy a poner unas profesiones,elegís una y me decís en que consiste esa profesión ¿Vale?

Audrey Morales: Veo que tienes una familia grande y aún así habéis hecho un esfuerzo por estar todos juntos,me gusta tu tarea ^^.

Paris Parisi: ¡Que despiste al no poder escribir la carta! Pero seguro que este año te regalan muchas cosas :)

Ian Martín: Se te ha olvidado presentarte a los demás compañeros de clase eh y a ti ya veo que estas Navidades te han regalado muchas cosas.

Emma Hudson: Estoy impresionada con tu tarea,me ha encantado! Tienes toda la razón cuando dices que lo importante de la Navidad es estar con la familia y no los regalos.

Herman Sadhu: Has hecho un magnífico trabajo,he visto que te han regalado muchas cosas eso es porque eres un niño bueno.

Lucía Medina: Veo que te lo has pasado muy bien estas vacaciones pero no me has dicho que te han regalado por Navidad.

Year 47' First Week - 3rd Grade

¡Hola niños! Como es el primer día despúes de las vacaciones vamos a sentarnos todos juntos y os voy a contar un cuento cortito ¿Vale?

The Snowman:

It was nearly Christmas. Katie woke up and found that the world was white and magical.
"Snow," she shouted, "snow for Christmas."
She ran outside and danced in the snow.
Her brother Eddie came out too. They made a big round snowball and a small one.
They put them together and made a huge snowman.
On Christmas Eve they looked at the snowman.
He waved at them. He was alive!
"Hello," he said, "it's Christmas. Would you like a present?"
"Yes please!"
The snowman waved his arms.
Silver crystal snowflakes filled the sky. It was so beautiful.
"We must give you a present too," said Katie.
They gave the snowman a carrot for a nose, a scarf for his neck, and a hat for his head.
"Happy Christmas!" they said.
The snow stopped and the sun came out. The snowman started to melt.
"Goodbye," he said. "Build me again next year!"
