La profesora de inglés del año pasado contaba historias en inglés antes de empezar la clase, nosotros vamos a hablar de un personaje famoso que hable inglés y que tenga algo que ver con la tarea que haremos cada semana.
Esta semana os voy a hablar un poco de John Lennon ok?
John Winston Ono Lennon, most popular like John Lennon was born in Liverpool, England, on 9 October 1940. He was a member of one of the most famous music bands in the history of world music, The Beatles. With Paul McCartney, Lennon formed one of the most influential and successful songwriting partnerships of the 20th century and "wrote some of the most popular music in rock and roll history". He wrote songs of legend, like Yesterday, Let it be or Imagine and many more.
He has a controversial life like peace activist against conflicts, specially Vietnam war, along with his wife Yoko Ono. After The Beatles broke up in 1970, Lennon enjoyed a commercially successful and critically acclaimed solo career.
At around 10:50 pm on 8 December 1980, soon after Lennon and Ono returned to the Dakota, the New York apartment building where they lived, Mark David Chapman shot Lennon in the back four times at the entrance to the building and then he died Roosevelt Hospital. He is died but never forget.
